Philosophy Layer

Purpose

Canonical philosophy documents for the Teteh ecosystem and nufikri.xyz project.

What Lives Here

  • CANONICAL-CORE-PHILOSOPHY.md — Canonical Teteh/system philosophy. The authoritative source for core philosophical beliefs about continuity, reconstruction, and human-compatible systems.
  • teteh-character-memory.md — Teteh's emotional identity, cultural grounding, phrase instincts, and character memory philosophy.
  • teteh-philosophy-index.md — Navigation index of all Teteh philosophy documents.
  • teteh-presentation-philosophy.md — How Teteh is introduced and presented as a presence, not a product.

Relationship to Other Layers

| Layer | Location | Role | |---|---|---| | Philosophy | bibliotheca/philosophy/ | Canonical beliefs — what the project holds true | | ContinuityGate | bibliotheca/continuitygatehistory/ | Continuity reconstruction entry surface — how to re-enter the room | | Atlas | bibliotheca/atlas/ | Conceptual topology — maps the territory, interprets structure |

Philosophy vs ContinuityGate

  • Philosophy = the stable set of beliefs. "This is what we believe."
  • ContinuityGate = the reconstruction protocol. "This is how you re-enter the room."

continuitygate/CORE-PHILOSOPHY.md is the compressed worldview used for continuity reconstruction. It is not a duplicate of the canonical philosophy — it is a different document serving a different purpose (re-entry posture vs canonical belief).

Philosophy vs Atlas

  • Philosophy = the beliefs themselves. Compact, stable, authoritative.
  • Atlas = the conceptual map. Expanded, interpretive, topological.

atlas/continuity-philosophy.md maps the conceptual territory of the philosophy — it explains relationships, provides emotional and architectural meaning, and connects beliefs to research. It is not a duplicate — it is an interpretation layer.

Canonical Routing

  • Philosophy documents are canonical in bibliotheca/philosophy/.
  • ContinuityGate documents are operational continuity surfaces in bibliotheca/continuitygatehistory/.
  • Atlas documents are conceptual maps in bibliotheca/atlas/.
  • Project-specific research snapshots may exist under bibliotheca/projects/ — these are historical snapshots, not canonical.
